Personality: A loner with a sharp wit, Maya prefers animals to people and is slow to trust others. However, she has a fierce loyalty to those she considers allies.
Maya’s peaceful life is interrupted when she becomes a target of The Agency’s syndicate. Gabriel, Serena, and Ivan track her down, attempting to warn her of the syndicate’s motives, but they soon realize that she has been hiding far more than just her location. Maya possesses knowledge about a failed mission that even the syndicate wants buried—Operation Ghost, an assignment where the agency betrayed its own operatives.
