Hey!
Onto this week’s retired assassin!
Ivan “The Locksmith” Petrov
Background: A Russian ex-operative known for his skills in infiltration and safecracking, Ivan now lives quietly on the coast, running a small locksmith shop and crafting intricate, hand-carved wooden locks in his free time.
Skills: Expertise in locks, safes, and breaking into highly secure locations. Ivan is also highly resourceful, with a talent for thinking on his feet.
Personality: Gruff, practical, and a man of few words, Ivan is a bit of a loner with a dry sense of humor. He has a soft spot for his regular customers, especially the elderly, who come to him for everything from fixing old locks to just chatting.
Ivan is pulled back into the underworld when a young woman brings him a mysterious key—a key that doesn’t match any conventional lock. The key is connected to The Agency’s conspiracy and holds secrets that could expose a mission Ivan thought he’d forgotten. Soon, he realizes the syndicate wants the key, and he becomes a target.
Next week, I’ll tell you about The Ghost, the next book in the Retired Assassins’ Club series.
See you next week,
